![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Growing up there I always had poor health and would cough up a lot of phlegm, and every time I went back I would bring a smog mask. This painting is inspired by my recent trip to China. There are many other small things that we can all do help the environment like turning off the lights when we're not in the room, or not using the AC or heater if we could just take off or put on a jacket instead.Ĭhange is not waiting for the scientists and government to come up with the solution, change starts with the little things we can do everyday. Cows are also a huge source of methane, which is another type of greenhouse gases that's responsible for global warming. Even eating less meat (especially cows and pigs), can greatly help because it takes more energy to raise a cow than some crops of the same nutritional value. Taking public transportation, carpooling, or riding a bike are a cost efficient and healthy way to save energy and money. Relying on oil also lets big oil companies like BP and ExxonMobile get away with oil spills time and time again. With that in mind, I'm not saying we should give up everything we own and live in the wild, but any amount of reduce, reuse, and recycle will lessen the amount of new products that needs manufacturing. The manufacturing of anything takes up energy, which is usually created by burning fossil fuel like gas and coal. While fossil fuel burning cars are a huge source of green house gasses, many other things also add up to create the problem. Many of us think that helping to prevent global warming is just about driving a hybrid car, or getting solar panels, which most people can't afford, so why bother? ![]() Waiting for the countdown until all the ice caps and glacier have melted and water level has risen is not an option. 2000-present date was the warmest decade on record worldwide. This is not part of the natural climate change but a human induced and an abnormally accelerated increase in temperature. Polar bears that need the ice to hunt and survive are drowning or starving sometimes forced to search through dumpsters to survive. Even with his penchant for laughable stunts, I believe some fight scenes, action or chases would have perked this one up.While many of us enjoy the luxury of watching TV on our couch with a cold can of soda or beer, the ice caps are melting at an alarming rate. Sex scenes are well-shot and the final image (as noir music plays on the soundtrack) is clever and evocative enough to have been used in a "real movie", rather than just porn. Chinn cannot get much credit as a talent scout, as the one femme cast member who would soon achieve super-stardom (credit Alex De Renzy for spotlighting her in PRETTY PEACHES), Desiree Cousteau, is completely wasted in a few seconds-worth of bit part as a nurse giving a blow job. Chris Cassidy is the loveliest of the four, and late in the film Kyoto is tossed in the mix to give the movie needed exoticism. They are basically sent in to bamboozle Wadd with their feminine charms, and steal the Jade Pussycat from him, but John Holmes as Wadd outwits them. Some attractive leading ladies are the main diversion, as Chinn cheekily spoofs "Charlie's Angels", even having the temerity to have a guy named Charlie on the phone barking orders to his set of four "Devils", who are prettier and more talented (in XXX context) than the ho-hum current lineup on TV. This entry has little action, mainly sex. Bob Chinn's Johnny Wadd movies had fallen into a routine format by the time of CHINA CAT, a followup to his excellent entry JADE PUSSYCAT. ![]()
